An instant messaging service to communicate with everyone in the condominium
The messaging service is an important tool for the life of your condominium: it allows all stakeholders of the condo (co-owners, members of the Board of Directors / union council, tenants, caretaker ...) to communicate quickly and easily.
Messaging is instant because you do not wait for the message to be delivered, as for a regular e-mail message. All messages are kept permanently on the site and are therefore easy to find back.
The menu for accessing messaging functions
When you want to use the messaging service the following horizontal menu appears:

This tabbed menu gives you access to 4 pages that allow you to:
- see new messages sent to you
- create a message for one or more recipients of the condo
- view messages you have read and archived
- view previously sent messages

When you access pages « New posts » , « Messages read » and « Messages sent » the existing messages appear as a list of paged headers:

Each header displays an icon representing the category of the message (eg: simple message, general meeting, board of directors meeting, alert or emergency, etc.) and the date of receipt, title, and the name of its author.
Each message header is a clickable block: just click on it to open the message and read it, while remaining on the same page. When a message is opened, simply click its header again to close it.
Creating a new message
Creating a new message is simple: you access a form where you simply choose a category, then enter a title, write the body of the message, and select the recipient(s) from your condominium directory.
There are several options for selecting recipients: selecting a single contact, or selecting a predefined group of RedLeafCondo (eg: the webmaster, members of the board of directors / union council, all co-owners, the manager).

The message thus created must be saved. Once saved it can be sent to its recipient(s), who receive it instantly. You can keep your unsent messages (your drafts) for resuming and sending them later.
Note that you can also tell RedLeafCondo to retransmit your received messages by email, to your preferred email address. This choice is made in the setting of your preferences in your user account.
Finally, note that a system of automatic moderation accompanies you when writing each message. This system filters unwanted words (insults, certain known proper names, insulting or racist expressions, etc.). The basis of the keywords and expressions of this system is enriched over time, and also according to your remarks.
